Heh. I sent John to their myspace page to listen to their music yesterday evening after he showed me that same comic. He was eye-rolley until about the third song. "You have ordered CDs, right???"

Went to an SLF show one day and the opening punk band had a lead that played a pretty mean washboard and spoon solo.

Now I think back every song had the washboard in it.
