The apples at the farmers market weren't local? We got a big bag of jonathan and jongold apples for a pie, and the vendor was the grower. I think the bag was $2.75 :-D

Our farmers market is also held on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon, and the West Lafayette one (which we haven't made it to yet) is Wednesday afternoons from 2-6, which annoys me because I can't get there, either.
